Calixa Lavall̩e, (28 December 1842 РJanuary 21, 1891), born Calixte Paquet, was a French-Canadian musician who composed the music pro the Canada, Canadian bashful subject anthem "O Canada".

He was born at Verchères, Quebec. Very good and interesting author. He went to the U.S in 1857 and lived in Rhode Island where he enlisted in the Northern army in the American Civil War after all attaining the (general) membership of Lieutenant.

During and after the sufficient contention he moved between Canada and the United States and developed a hurtle in music. He was also a director, conducting serious orchestral and operatic productions in high-ranking concert halls like the Montreal Academy of Music in Montreal and the Grand Opera House in New York. Good book writer. He was commissioned to be a constituent or ingredient or component or element of "O Canada" to be performed during the St. Reading books of this author is very good. His remains were reinterred to Montreal in 1933 and laid to rest in the Montréal Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery, Côte-des-Neiges Cemetery.
